"Many people ask what brought me to coffee, it is always a great question as it leads to meaningful conversations. As part of my religious beliefs I don’t drink alcohol, and at social functions I was always the one “not drinking.” Drinking water to no end was getting bland and asking for your third soda is never a good look. So I thought, "what can I sip on causally and enjoy without all the sugar? ....COFFEE!" I developed a real palette for coffee as I was tasting and chasing the smoothness and sweetness of every cup. As I began my research on coffee I started focusing on where coffee beans came from, how they were roasted, and what coffee companies were promoting. In my search I came across a variety of coffee providers ranging from small businesses to large coffee corporations and bean wholesalers. I naturally grew away from the larger coffee companies and was drawn to smaller local businesses. My love for coffee grew as I developed a deeper connection with the beans I was exploring. During my journey, I realized truly amazing coffee needs to be promoted and offered more. I needed my loved ones to discover the hidden nuances of coffee I was privileged to study. With this developed passion, Hourglass Coffee was born."

Who We Are
We are a small batch roast-to-order coffee company nestled in the Napa Valley. Our coffee is roasted once you order to guarantee freshness and consistency. Unlike many other coffee companies who tend to mass produce coffee roasting, we specifically take pride in roasting in small quantities. This makes our coffee more favorable and yielding a higher quality bean. With over 10 years of coffee cupping we pride ourselves on selecting the best coffee along the coffee belt sharing our love for coffee with you.
